STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — The father of a California soldier recently killed in Afghanistan says he felt disrespected and hurt by passengers who booed him and his family when they were on a flight to meet his son’s remains.
Stewart Perry tells the Stockton Record (http://bit.ly/2fFOIRc) he and his wife and daughter were flying on an American Airlines flight from Sacramento to Philadelphia with a transfer in Phoenix to receive the remains of his son, Sgt. John Perry, of Stockton.
He says the flight to Phoenix was 45 minutes late and the crew, fearing the Perrys could miss their connecting flight, made an announcement for passengers to remain seated to let a “special military family” deplane first.
Perry says several passengers in first class booed, complaining that it was “baloney” and that they paid first-class fares.
Perry’s son died after an improvised explosive device attack Nov. 12 inside Bagram Airfield.

1st class passengers…. one of a kind, the lowest kind, the sickest kind!
They are lucky that it was not me who was captain on THAT plane, I would have thrown them off the plane (when it would have been in mid-air), with the compliments of the Human Race!
The names of these booing 1st class passengers should be made public, and they should be publicly shamed and exposed, so that everyone with decency would see what kind of creatures our soldiers are defending, and then have their names and faces exposed on the internet, for all eternity!
It is unbelievable that this sort of total disrespectful creatures are allowed to breath the air that decent men and women breath, in my not so humble opinion these 1st class passengers deserve to be dropped in the desert, in ISIS-territory, and submitted to the treatment that ISIS gives!
I almost would apologize as a human being to the Father and the family of the soldier for the inexcusable behavior of these 1st class creatures, but I think that the airline should apoligize to them, for having carried these 1st class passengers!
Shocking, insulting, an American unworthy behavior!
